For the carrot hearts, peel the carrot. Now use a sharp knife to cut a wedge-shaped piece lengthwise out of the carrot.
Use the peeler to shape the edges of the heart. Round off the corners a little. Cut the carrot into slices about 2 mm thick and give the carrot hearts, for example, as a filler in a soup.
