For the buckwheat casserole, first wash the buckwheat well and let it dry. Salt the milk and bring to the boil. Add buckwheat to the milk and cook for about 20 minutes so that it swells nicely. Allow to cool.

Beat eggs until foamy, add sour cream and cream cheese and mix.

Heat the oven to 180 °C. Brush the baking pan with oil.

Mix the mixture into the porridge. Put everything together in the baking dish and bake for about 20 minutes, until a crust appears on top.

The buckwheat casserole can be served as a side dish or as a cake. In the latter case, sprinkle the casserole with the powdered sugar.
