Place all ingredients in a bowl or on a work surface and mix by hand, working quickly to form a shortcrust pastry. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Roll out on a floured work surface or between two baking mats with a rolling pin until 3 mm thick. Sweep off excess flour with a flour whisk or brush before cutting out. Cut out stars or other shapes of your choice. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake in preheated oven at about 165 to 175 °C for 10 to 13 minutes under supervision. Spread half of the stars with jam and place the other half on top. Decorate with chocolate icing.

Preparation Tip:

To decorate, roll out marzipan thinly in different colors and cut out small shapes and place on the assembled cookie with a dab of jam.
