For the marble cake, separate the eggs. Cream the yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in one cup of oil and water, then fold in the flour with the baking powder.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the yolk mixture with a whisk. Pour half of the batter into the greased pan sprinkled with crumbs, stir in the cocoa into the rest.

Pour the rest of the dough into the mold and mix the light and dark parts a little with a spoon to create the marbled pattern. Bake for about 40-50 minutes at 180 °C.
