Wash the pears well, quarter them and remove the core. Do not peel the pears.
Put the fruit in a pot and pour the water over it. Bring to a boil and simmer gently until the pear pieces are nice and soft.
Blend with a hand blender until no pieces remain. Bring to a gentle boil once more.
Pour into clean jars and seal tightly or let cool. Enjoy the pear puree as soon as possible.
Preparation Tip:
Serve with a well chilled Kellerbier with the pear puree.
