Instructions:

For the grape cake, beat butter, egg yolks and sugar with a mixer until creamy. Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks and fold them loosely into the batter. Now add the flour.

Grease a cake springform pan (28 cm diameter), sprinkle with breadcrumbs, pour in the batter and smooth it down.

Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top. Wash, halve and stone the grapes and place them on the cake.

For the crumble, mix flour, cinnamon and sugar. Make butter liquid in saucepan, gradually add to flour while stirring throughout.

Grate the crumble dough into crumbles with your hands and spread over the grapes on the cake, at 170-190° Celsiu.

Bake the grape cake on the lowest rack for about 40-50 min. (160-180 degrees Celsius in a convection oven.)

Preparation Tip:

Serve grape cake with whipped cream!
