Instructions:

Soak the basmati rice for about half an hour.

Put the basmati rice (without water!) in the pressure cooker, add ghee or oil and brown the rice for about 2 minutes.

Add cardamom powder, saffron threads, sugar, whole milk and a little water and cook for 5 minutes.

Add almonds, cashews and raisins and stir well. Cook for another 10 minutes.

Close the lid from the pressure cooker tightly and cook the rice mixture on high temperature for about 15 minutes. Then switch to low temperature for another 15 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

If you do not want raisins, you can omit them.
