Try this delicious cake recipe:

Gently melt the chopped yeast in the lukewarm tap water (I).

Pour the flour into baking bowl, make a bulge and pour in the yeast water. Mix with a little flour from the edge to form a dampfl.

Leave to rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes, preferably on the open door of a heated stove.

Mix the dampfl with all the flour and the lukewarm tap water (Ii) to form a dough.

Put the dough in a warm place for another 20 minutes to rise.

Meanwhile, dice the candied fruit and soak the raisins in lukewarm tap water.

Knead the dough tightly for about 20 min. and beat it vigorously, adding a little flour and tap water as needed.

Add the candied fruit and the drained raisins and work the dough for another 2-3 min in the previously described way and manner, until the fruit is evenly distributed.

Arrange into a ball and place on greased and floured greaseproof paper. Now place on a board.
