Prepare strudel sheets according to package instructions. Preheat oven to 190° C. Fry ham with onion and young onion, add mushrooms and stir well until the liquid has evaporated. Add crème fraîche, stir briefly and season with salt and pepper. Allow to cool. Spread half of the filling on the dough at a time, leaving a hand-width strip of dough. Cut strudel into pieces about 4 cm long and place in a greased rectangular baking dish. Brush dough again with melted butter or margarine.
