Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

Instructions:

First, preheat the oven to 220 °C.

Season the roast pork with salt and pepper, rub with mustard and sprinkle with dried herbs.

Grease a roasting tin with oil, cut the onions into eighths, put them into the roasting tin, as well as the roast pork and put it into the oven.

When the top of the roast starts to take on some color, baste with 1/4 of the beer.

The roast should stay in the oven for a total of 2 hours (depending on its size). Pour some of the beer over it from time to time.

After 2 hours, briefly puree the sauce with a blender so that the onions become fine.

In the meantime, prepare the dumplings.

When the dumplings are ready, arrange the roast pork with the dumplings and serve.

Preparation Tip:

It goes well with sauerkraut or red cabbage!
