For the honey mustard cutlets, salt the meat on both sides. In a bowl, mix the mustard with the honey and brush it well and lavishly on the cutlets on both sides.
Put the breadcrumbs in a wide, shallow bowl and roll the marinated cutlets in them. Heat the oil well in a frying pan and fry the schnitzels over not too high heat until golden brown on both sides.
Remove the finished honey mustard schnitzels from the pan and let them drain a little on some kitchen paper towels.
Preparation Tip:
This dish is ideal when you have a desire for schnitzel but no eggs at home. As a side dish go very well with the honey mustard cutlets potato salad, parsley potato or mixed salad.
