For the ham sauce, first cut the onion into cubes, the ham as well and cut the garlic into very thin slices. First sauté the onion and garlic, then remove them from the pan and sauté the ham.

Then add the garlic and onion again. Pour cream, whipped cream and water over the ham. Add the sliced pickles and Emmentaler cheese as well.

Stir until the cheese has dissolved. Season to taste with salt and herb salt.
