Instructions:

Prepare strudel sheets according to package instructions. Preheat oven to 190° C. Sauté onion in hot butter, then add bread cubes and leek, fry briefly and remove from heat. Mix well with cooked beetle beans, egg and spices. Spread the filling on two thirds of the strudel dough, fold in the side edges and roll up with the help of the kitchen towel. Place the strudel, seam side down, on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with melted butter. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for 25 – 30 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

As a side dish, serve warm coleslaw or green salad - in Styrian, of course, with kernel oil.
