For the Advent cake, mix the eggs, nuts, flour, sugar, raisins, spices and a dash of milk in a bowl until well blended.
Pour into a buttered and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 180 °C in a preheated oven for about 1 hour.

Advent cake tastes best when wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in a cool place, then cut into thin slices after 5 days.
