Instructions:

Rinse salt herrings with care, skin and fillet. Soak for about 120 minutes. Remove skin from shallots and apple, finely dice and stir with whipping cream and yogurt. Add dill and season with pepper.

Put the herring fillets into the sauce and let them soak for at least 1-2 hours.

Serve with potatoes or dark bread.

Tip: Use creamy natural yogurt for an even finer result!
