Salt and pepper the wild duck well, both inside and out. Mix the chopped bacon, chopped liver and heart of the duck, breadcrumbs, walnuts, egg, onion and spices and stuff the ducks with it. Close the opening with a roasting spit or sew it up. Fry in hot lard on all sides and slowly roast in the oven at 150 °C for 1 1/2-2 hours until golden brown. Meanwhile, baste with gravy from time to time and add a little soup if necessary. Lift out ducks and carve.
