For the banana strudel, roll out the strudel dough, cut off a strip about 5 cm wide and lay it on its side.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough on it. Peel the bananas and cut them lengthwise four times, then cut the quarters into small pieces and drizzle with rum.

Chop the chocolate and spread it on the dough. Leave out the edges. Spread the banana pieces and Nutella on top.

Gently but tightly roll up the strudel dough. “Seal” the edges well, i.e. press them firmly together. Close any gaps in the dough with the rest set aside.

Bake the banana strudel at 170 °C for at least half an hour and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, add a few chopped nuts to the banana strudel.
