For the strawberry vinegar, clean the strawberries and cut them in half. Put them in a wide jar. I always use a large pickle jar for this purpose. Pour the vinegar over the strawberries and close the jar.
Leave the jar in a light place for 5 to 6 weeks. Shake the jar once a day. After the infusion time, strain the strawberry vinegar through a muslin cloth and fill it into small bottles.
Preparation Tip:
The more aromatic the strawberries are, the better the strawberry vinegar or the fewer strawberries are needed.
