Instructions:

First prepare the meat loaves.

For the minced loaves, peel the small onion and garlic, chop finely and fry in a hot pan with 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Stir in the herbs, remove from heat and let cool.

Then mix with mustard into the minced meat. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Knead the dough well and let it stand covered for 30 minutes.

Form 2 burgers from the dough with moistened hands and fry in hot vegetable oil in a pan for about 2-3 minutes per side. For the topping, peel onion, wash and cut into rings.

Wash lettuce leaves and spin dry. Wash tomato, cut out the stem and cut into slices. Mix ketchup with mayonnaise and chili sauce.

Cut burger buns in half and toast lightly, cut side down, in wiped-out pan. Top the bottom with lettuce leaves, place the cucumber slices, tomato slices and onion rings on top.

Place one burger on each, top each with 1 tablespoon mayonnaise – ketchup sauce. Put the lid on and serve.

Preparation Tip:

The burgers are best served classically with fries, fried potato and/or fresh salad. Who does not want ketchup can also use mustard.
