For the spelt bread, mix well the flour with the salt, grains and yeast. Heat 150 ml of water and dissolve the beet syrup in it.

Then add to the flour. Add 350 ml of water (room temperature) as well and knead for at least 5 minutes.

Grease baking pan with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour in a warm place, then in the oven at 50 °C for another 30 minutes.

Then bake the spelt bread at 200 °C for about 70 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

The spelt bread is wonderful to freeze. Simply cut into slices and freeze them. If necessary, put in the toaster or grill in the oven.
