For the sage sauce, peel the onion and garlic, chop very finely and sauté in a pot in the oil until translucent. Pour in milk, add chopped sage and simmer for about 3 minutes.
If you like, you can now puree the sauce with a blender. Mix with cream and season with salt. At the table, sprinkle the sage sauce with parmesan cheese if desired.

This sage sauce goes well with spaghetti and any other type of pasta.
