For the rice dessert with apple and cinnamon, rinse the rice under cold water and drain. Put the rice in boiling water and simmer gently for about 3 minutes.

Then drain and let it drain. Put the sugar in a pot. Add the pulp of the vanilla pod. Pour a little milk over the sugar mixture and stir with a fork over low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
