Try this delicious pasta dish:

1. canola oil and spices stir through. Remove sinew and skin from leg of lamb, but a tiny bit of the fat on it. Brush meat all over with marinade. Place leg in a suitable dish, cover and marinate in refrigerator for one night.

Preheat oven to 230 degrees. Remove peel from onions and dice. Season leg with salt, place in roasting pan together with onions, place in heated oven and roast for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, warm the honey slightly. Pour hot water over the raisins, drain again and add to the meat. Drizzle the meat with the honey. Lower the cooking temperature to 175 °C, put the leg back in the oven and roast for another 30 minutes.

Roast the almond flakes in the oil until crispy brown.

Arrange meat on a platter, cover with sauce and sprinkle with almond flakes. Serve with a fresh green salad and pasta or bread.
