For the dried apple roses, first wash the apple. Using a peeler, peel about 1 cm wide strips from the apple lengthwise to make a snake.
Put the apple strips in a bowl with the lemon juice and the cinnamon. Press the strips together a little at the beginning and wrap tightly into a rose. If necessary, pin with a toothpick.
Spread on two drying grids and dry the dried apple roses at 60 °C for about 5-6 hours.
Preparation Tip:
Make sure that the dried apple roses still contain enough residual moisture, otherwise they will quickly become tough.
