(*) Berbere: Eritrean herb mixture of paprika, black pepper, salt and dried kitchen herbs.

Press garlic, stir with berbere and oil to form a viscous paste, adding just enough water as needed.

Keep in closed jar.

Use as a seasoning or dip.
