For the buckwheat loaf, cook the cereal according to the basic recipe. Put cooked buckwheat in a bowl, bind with egg and water and season well.
The mixture should not fall apart. Form small loafs and turn them in wholemeal breadcrumbs.
Heat a frying pan. Add a little coconut oil and put in the loafs. Fry on both sides until crispy brown.
Always use little fat. It is better to add a little more. The loaves should not swim in the fat.
Alternatively, you can place the shaped loafs on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven (hot air) at 200 °C degrees for about 20 minutes.
The buckwheat loafs go wonderfully with a yogurt herb sauce and green salad.
Preparation Tip:
Grate carrots or zucchini into the cereal mixture of the buckwheat loafs - looks pretty colorful and children like vegetables better when they are packed. Or work some pizza cheese underneath, this will make the loaves even spicier.
