Instructions:

For the Bacon Grissini with Avocado Dip, first mix the QimiQ Sauce Base with yeast and a pinch of sugar until smooth.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and spices and place in a mixing bowl.

Add the yeast mixture, softened butter and bacon and knead for approx. 2-3 minutes using a dough hook. Cover dough and let rise in a warm place.

Roll out dough ½ cm high and cut into strips about 10 cm long and 2 cm wide. Roll dough strips into strands.

Place strands on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake on the grill with the lid closed over indirect heat or in the oven at 180 °C for about 10 minutes.

For the dip, halve the avocado, remove the pit and lift the flesh out of the skin with a tablespoon. Mash avocado flesh with a fork.

Stir the uncooled QimiQ Classic until smooth. Add the avocado and the remaining ingredients and season to taste. Serve the bacon grissini with the avocado dip.
