For the mold:

For the apple boil, roast the apples whole (including peel and core) in the preheated oven at 180 °C for approx. 30 minutes. Remove and strain through a liquid soap.

Separate the eggs. Mix egg yolks with sugar until thick and creamy. Stir in applesauce, potato flour or cornflour, cinnamon, lemon juice and breadcrumbs. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully stir into the apple mixture.

Pour the mixture into a small baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 35 minutes.

Dust the apple mixture with sugar before serving.

Preparation Tip:

If there are no children, you can also add 100 ml of white wine to the mixture for the apple boil.
