For the Vogerlmilch with dumplings, beat the egg whites and salt with a mixer until firm, slowly pouring in the sugar.

Heat the milk (500ml) to 80 degrees, it must not boil!!!! Make dumplings from the egg whites and put them into the warm milk. Leave the dumplings to stand for a short time.

Stir the pudding powder with 2 tablespoons of sugar into the 2 tablespoons of (cold) milk. Remove the dumplings from the hot milk and let them drain.

Stir the pudding mixture into the hot milk and bring to the boil, stirring constantly, until the milk has become a custard that is not too solid.

Remove the custard from the heat and serve the Vogermilch with dumplings together with the dumplings.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, cut a few apple slices into the Vogermilch with dumplings at the end.
